Hello, my name is Merrilee Barton, I am a photo editor and hobbyist photographer.

Photographs have always captivated me, growing up there was an old darkroom in our basement. It was filled with glass negatives and prints left behind by the previous owner. I’d spend hours down there rooting through all those images, creating little gallery shows, and waiting until I was old enough to learn what all the equipment was for.

I am a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I studied Fine Art Photography and Creative Writing. I am now living on Long Island, NY where I work as a photo editor. I spend my days looking at and thinking about photography and I love every moment of it.
